Johanna Kaeppner has been involved in visual communications for a very long time. She studied graphic design at the Hochschule der Kuenste in Berlin, Germany. She started out as a graphic designer in the days before desktop publishing when publications were pasted up by hand. She progressed to desktop publishing and hasn't stopped upgrading her technology skills since. She has taken courses in multimedia, 3-D animation, programming and web design. She has worked both full time and as a contractor/freelancer in graphic design, desktop publishing and web design. She now develops open source web CMS sites full time.
